Jean-Pierre Etter, Chairman
Jean-Pierre has founded LEM (LEHN) – a market leader providing current and voltage transducers for the industrial, traction, energy and automotive markets – CTN (The Centre of New Technology) and eventually the foundation Fongit. Jean-Pierre is in an entrepreneur born as he created several successful companies over three decades. He is Chairman of the Foundation Fongit.
Pierre Strübin, Director
Pierre is the Director of Fongit since 2003 and he is responsible for the administration and logistic of the incubator. Pierre has formerly worked at ABB, IEC and LEM, where he was eventually the general manager for the Component Division. Pierre holds a degree in electrical engineering, has a MA in Finance and a MBA in Management. His expertise is the field of Finance, Project and General Management. He joined FONGIT in June 2000. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Fongit Seed Invest (FSI).
François Gilardoni, Sr. Business Advisor
François functions as Sr. Business Advisor at Fongit. He has lived and worked throughout the U.S. and Europe and who has built a solid body of experience in the high technology industry for almost two decades. His forte is to raise business valuation of early stage ventures, advise in seed investments and oversee business turnarounds in the Healthcare, IT, ICT, Cleantech and Finance industries. He manages international affairs. He holds a PhD (cum laude) in Computational Chemistry, as well as degrees in Environmental Science and Computing. He is also a mentor at Startup Weekend. He joined Fongit in January 2007.
Emmanuel de Watteville, Sr. Business Advisor
Emmanuel is Sr. Business Advisor at Fongit. Emmanuel worked for large multinational companies, holding various line- and general management positions. He also has experience as an entrepreneur of a start-up. Emmanuel is trained as an IT engineer and holds a MBA (INSEAD). His expertise is in the field of Finance, Marketing and General Management. Emmanuel joined Fongit in April 2004.
Caroline Barman, Personal Assistant
Caroline has joined Fongit in September 2011. She manages front desk and daily operation duties, accounting and HR issues for Fongit and its hosted companies.
Gian-Luigi Berini, Member of the Board of Trustees of Fongit
Gian-Luigi is the former Director of Fongit, which he has joined in 1999. Gian-Luigi spent more than 10 years as line- and general manager in larger corporations such as Alusuisse SA before becoming an entrepreneur with the hi-tech start-up company AutoDose SA. Gian-Luigi studied economy in Zurich, his expertise is in the field of Sales & Marketing, Organization and General Management. He represents Fongit and FSI on the Board of Directors of some portfolio companies.
