Benefits for Entrepreneurs
Fongit offers participating entrepreneurs guidance, support, and networking opportunities through the Fongit Accelerator and Incubation Program (FAIP).

• The FAIP grants participating entrepreneurs to collaborate, free of charge, with the coaches at Fongit and to make use of its administrative services, including accounting (not for free) when requested. Fongit is keen is acquiring up to 3% equity stake at incorporation of the company.
• The FAIP provides supported entrepreneurs with opportunities to interact with the other entrepreneurs, a pool of external coaches (CTI Start up), informal advisors and experts from the high technology community, and other support institutions.
• The FAIP assists supported startups in other administrative and legal issues such as setting up a compensation package and stock option plans, applying for a tax exception program, accessing reports (partnership with CTI Startup), or submitting a CTI grant.
• Participants have the opportunity to move from the nascent idea stage to a more fully developed business model while in the startup accelerator Fongit space.

Facilities and Available Resources
Fongit is based at the CTN business center in the very attractive suburban district of Plan-les-Ouates, which is just 10 minutes away from the airport of Geneva. CTN hosts more than forty companies and about 900 employees in its premises.
Our facilities are equipped with:

• Functionally furnished offices for 2-6 people equipped with desks, phones and storage space
• Open office space equipped with desks, phones and decent storage space
• Four conference rooms hosting up to 12 people
• High speed cable and wireless internet access
• Professional printers, fax machine and beamers
• Secured server room
• Cafeteria equipped with coffee maker and microwave oven
• Lab spaces
• Parking for a limited number of team members

Additional access to additional Fongit technology resource, such access to a web site hosting space, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Accounting and Administrative Services
Fongit seeks to relieve participating entrepreneurs from accounting and administrative chores that are often time demanding and convoluted for non experts.
We provide the following services:

• Accounting such as invoicing, payment preparation, and so forth
• Bookkeeping, such as monthly status reports preparation
• Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
• Salary and social security/ pension fund administration
• Global administrative tasks, like mailing services, front-desk, and so forth

Pricing
Fongit functions as a private non-profit foundation and it is supported by the state of Geneva and sponsors. Pricing models are articulated to account of the dynamic and lifecycles of startups.

For instance, the pricing for a 16m2 office space fully equipped – computers are usually not included in the offer – with desks, decent storage space and internet access. Prices are in Swiss Francs.

• Office space: 250-500 (depending of the development stage of the company)
• Accounting/ admin: 125-250 (see above)
• Utilities: 125-250 (see above)

For bigger offices, pricing varies from 500 up to 2000 Swiss Francs.
 

Premises
We have various offices that can host 2-6 people, shared office spaces, a couple of laboratories, four conference rooms, small cafeteria and the most important, soda and Nespresso coffee machines.
