FONGIT is a high-technology incubator and in order to benefit from the program the project / start-up should:

1. be based on an innovative, technology-based product idea or business concept for the following industries:

• Medical Devices
• Enabling technologies, equipments and processes for the Life-Science industry
• IT and Telecommunications equipment
• Energy-related technologies

2. have the beginnings of a sound management and/or product development team
3. have a product which is less than 24 months from market
4. show an interesting market potential with a substantial job growth.
