FONGIT, Mission and Purpose

Fongit is a high-tech business incubator and part of the of the governmental business incubator program of the State of Geneva.

Although Fongit operates as a non-profit oriented, private foundation, its purpose is to create wealth, employment and opportunity to local, regional and national economies. As a support organization its mission is to actively incube, support and assist early-stage, high-risk companies and to provide the necessary assistance to increase the chances of their technology-based ventures.

Fongit was founded by Jean-Pierre Etter and operates in its present form since 1997
